december photo project: week two
sunday, day 15
jotham left on his final trip of 2013. he's been traveling every week since labor day and we're all ready for a break.
sunday, day 8
our quest for the perfect christmas tree hit a snag when the boys fell in love with "chubbs", a 9' monstrosity that measured 21' across the bottom. atticus stood vigil, refusing to participate in cutting down a more reasonable tree and ended up tantrumming the whole way home. ho ho ho...
monday, day 9
every mother's biggest nightmare: a trip to the grocery store with three kids after school.
woe, the candy aisle...
tuesday, day 10
a sad and tired miles playing harmonica outside the bathroom door while his brothers frolic in the tub without him.
wednesday, day 11
good day, sunshine!
thursday, day 12
ok, these rascals kept devising ways to sneak in the kitchen and steal a cookie.
friday, day 13
the abominable snowman, still scaring three-year-olds after all these years.
saturday, day 14
jotham graciously took the boys to an afternoon birthday party and I relished the rare treat of having a day to myself in my house. I finally tackled the seven pounds of summer strawberries monopolizing my freezer and made preserves. I'm loving the nesting; staying up late doing little projects for the boys' advent, taking pictures, making curtains and cookies and cleaning house. it's a welcome time of respite from the demands of the flowers.
